Based on 49 CFR 107.809, the regulation requires the following:
* Inspections and Testing: If the Associate Administrator requests it, you must allow them (or their designee) to inspect your pressure receptacle manufacturing and testing facilities and records. You must also provide requested materials and pressure receptacles for analyses and tests, and you are responsible for paying the costs for both initial and subsequent inspections, analyses, and tests.
* Compliance with Approval Terms: You must follow all terms and conditions listed in the approval letter you receive.
Additionally, under 49 CFR 107.809, an approval can be denied, suspended, or terminated if the country of manufacture fails to maintain, initiate, or recognize an Independent Inspection Agency (IIA), fails to recognize UN standard packagings made under this subchapter, or places restrictions or conditions on U.S. citizens or organizations that it does not require of its own citizens.
