This includes materials that are radioactive, explosive, or extremely toxic, as well as bulk shipments of hazardous materials. The goal of this registration is to ensure that those handling and transporting hazardous materials are aware of and comply with the safety regulations designed to protect the public and the environment. It's crucial for companies and individuals to understand the thresholds and categories of hazardous materials that trigger the need for registration to avoid non-compliance and potential penalties.
