According to 49 CFR 385.707, a compliance review requires the following:

* Evaluation Criteria: FMCSA uses the criteria specified in appendix B of the part to determine if a non-North America-domiciled new entrant exercises the necessary basic safety management controls.

* If you receive a Satisfactory Rating: FMCSA will give you written notice as soon as practicable (no later than 45 days after the review is completed). Your registration will stay in provisional status, and your on-highway performance will be closely monitored for the rest of your 18-month new entrant registration period.

* If you receive a Conditional Rating: FMCSA will start a revocation proceeding under § 385.709. Your new entrant registration will not be suspended before that revocation proceeding concludes.

* If you receive an Unsatisfactory Rating: FMCSA will start a suspension and revocation proceeding in accordance with § 385.709.
